WUSA9, TEGNA's flagship station and CBS affiliate in Washington DC has constantly been committed to innovation with state-of-the-art marketing solutions offering endless opportunities for our clients to thrive from linear TV, to digital video, OTT and advanced attribution tactics. We're looking for a creative, energetic and highly organized Strategic Partnerships Lead to join our sales division.​



You will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of every aspect of WUSA9's implementation of station sales projects and partnerships throughout the project life cycle.

This position will support the quality execution and on-time delivery of projects/partnerships assets which require the coordination of working with the Sales organization and with multiple teams within WUSA9. This includes: News/Sports, Lifestyle Programing liaison, Marketing, Production and Digital. The ideal candidate is responsible for providing high quality project support, scheduling and assisting with internal stakeholders and station clients in all aspects of day-to-day operations and inquiries.


  • 2+ year prior Project Management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional and effective communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Pro-active with superior attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prepare visually effective, comprehensive and cohesive end-of-campaign deliverables
  • Strong tracking and prioritization skills to coordinate between multiple projects
  • Experience using a Content Management System (Knowledge of Salesforce a plus)
  • Experience using an Ad Management Platform (Knowledge of Wide Orbit a plus)
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Broadcast and Digital Media, video editing
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, positive attitude required​
