JOB DESCRIPTION
WXIA in Atlanta is looking to add a storyteller the award-winning Atticus team. Their mission is to change the world through powerful journalism. This team's digital episodic series have changed laws and saved lives. Over the course of just 3 years, Atticus has been honored with two National Murrows, dozens of Emmys, and NAB Service to America Awards, among others. Now, they're searching for an exceptional writer to help continue to produce eye-opening investigations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of this team, you'll be asked to try new things, get innovative, and be flexible. A passion for storytelling is a must. It would help if you have training in shooting, editing. But one of the keys to getting this gig is being the kind of reporter who doesn't take no for an answer. In these stories, the reporter is a leader who drives decisions and charts the course of stories.
Another key requirement: curiosity and compassion. This job is really hard work. But changing the world is rarely easy.
