Marketing Producer
KVUE is seeking a passionate and hungry Marketing Producer / Designer that understands and loves to tell visual stories. You would be working to help tell the story of KUVE in creative ways aligned with our strategic plan. This is your chance to live, play and create in one of the United States best cities! Responsibilities
- Having a positive and forward-thinking attitude and the ability to demonstrate a “growth” mindset & a team first mentality.
- Working with the station’s Marketing direction to develop creative concepts for a wide range of campaigns, from highly produced image to topical stories, for broadcast, digital and social media platforms.
- Design and animate graphics (logos, branding, marketing projects)
- Design for print & social media platforms
- The ability to create projects from initial concepts to adapting templates to match station branding
- Ability to use research & data to help develop and execute creative ideas with a clear message that reinforce the value of the station’s brand.
- Is comfortable collaborating with several people on a project or handling tasks individually.
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines, which may sometimes be aggressive
- Ability to track multiple projects.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule that may require being present on some nights, weekends and being present during breaking news situations.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
Skill Set
- Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, In-Design, and Illustrator
- Design and animation skills a plus
- Strong organization skills
- Effective communication in fast-paced environment
- Able to react to change and take direction / constructive criticism effectively and productively
Experience
- Ideally candidate would have formal or some design training
- 1-3 years of motion graphics or graphic design work is preferred, but recent graduates are also strongly encouraged to apply
- Broadcast experience is desired
- A college degree in marketing, advertising, design or related field is preferred – but don’t let that scare you off from applying!
