At KING 5 we Stand for Truth. We are seeking an Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter. The successful candidate will be an excellent on-camera communicator with top-notch interviewing and live-reporting skills. We are seeking candidates who will hold the powerful accountable and tell the stories of our community. We want a leader who is creative and courageous when it comes to adding innovative features to newscasts as well as digital and social platforms


  • Deliver on-air news events in an engaging, conversational and accurate manner
  • Work with EP and producers to create unique newscasts
  • Write and post daily on all digital platforms including social media
  • Develop story ideas, write, shoot and edit news stories for on-air broadcast
  • Develop original content through social listening and independent sources

Compensation and Benefits

We are offering a competitive salary along with benefits such as paid time away from work, health savings account, 401K, paid parental leave, fertility and family planning care, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and student loan refinancing. 

This position is salaried and not overtime eligible.


  • 4-5 years news anchor experience
  • Excellent, creative presentation and writing skills a must
  • Must be available and willing to work on weekdays, weekends and evenings
  • Journalism, Communications or Political Science degree preferred
