The Editor is a key member in our award-winning news team. You will work closely with our entire content team and report to the Director of Photojournalism. We are searching for someone who can balance multiple deadlines and uphold high journalistic standards to get our news on-air and to our digital platforms.
In This Role, You Will
- Edit video elements including voice-overs, SOTS, packages, graphics and teases for daily on-air broadcasts and web platforms
- Operate non-linear editing systems
- Capture feeds and file transfer protocol material
- Monitor quality control editing to scripts and producer notes
Compensation and Benefits

This position is hourly, overtime eligible and union represented.
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience OR 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism
- Ability to work mornings, nights, holiday and weekend shifts
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a medium or large local TV news station
- Experience with Edius and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop)
