The Digital Sales Strategist plays a critical strategic role and has primary responsibility for campaign success through management and optimization of digital media campaigns to ensure launch and successful delivery. The Digital Sales Strategist is fully functional on all products including but not limited to OTT/CTV, Native marketing, programmatic / direct display, video and Website Optimization. (An understanding in Email Marketing, SEO, PPC, SEM, Social Media a plus)

Responsibilities:

  • The DSS works with Account Executives on developing proposals and digital strategies, going on sales calls and developing opportunities that drive customer results. Also, responsible for working with the account management teams on optimization strategies to ensure campaign delivery and attainment of customer goals.
  • Work as the station champion for all OTT/ CTV (Premion) services and proactively work with the account management teams on training rollouts, updates, reporting and optimization efforts that ensure client success.
  • Proactively monitors and manages campaigns to make appropriate adjustments to improve performance and ongoing optimization for all digital accounts. 
  • Attends sales calls with Account Executives as needed to help them prepare and deliver customer- centric solutions.
  • Frequently communicates results and proof of performance to customers in tandem with Account Executives.
  • Works with Digital Client Services Managers to ensure deadlines are met and client performance is delivered as promised. Supports an active dialogue with the Digital Client Services teams across multiple product lines ensuring customers goals are met.
  • Attends weekly sales meetings and training sessions to implement go-to-market strategies for a variety of digital products.
  • Creativity, flexibility, and ability to change and learn with our industry are also keys to success.
  • Provides on- going recommendations to Account Executives and clients to upsell and cross-sell our vast product offerings. Customer satisfaction is the top priority!

Requirements:

  • Full working knowledge of all aspects of Digital Marketing including Google Analytics, OTT / CTV, Video Services, Targeted Display (Banner Advertising), Native Advertising, Web Site Optimization. 
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Google Certifications a plus.
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Expertise at developing relationships
  • Previous Internet Sales/Support experience
  • Bachelor degree preferred
