Responsibilities

  • Lead creative process for all campaigns and projects including concepting, production, and post-production—ensuring work is executed on-spec, on-time, and on-budget
  • Produce/write/edit high-quality creative for brand marketing, community, and advertisers
  • Manage, mentor, and develop marketing producers to do their best work
  • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders on brand strategies and tactics
  • Understand audience motivators/behaviors to ensure the creative has value and relevancy
  • Identify and execute new creative opportunities that help “raise the bar” and grow audience
  • Design graphics and animations for broadcast, digital/social, and print
  • Shoot and light talent and interview subjects for promos, commercials, and integrations
  • Partner with the director of marketing to ensure brand is compliant and consistent
  • Oversee video production technology to keep department current with equipment and effectively managing media / file storage systems effectively
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training of new producers and contract/freelance crews

Requirements

  • Ability to transform creative concepts and complex information into compelling copy
  • Sharp aesthetics for video editing, graphic design, and typography placement
  • Manage, prioritize, and track multiple projects while still meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Solid organization and time management in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to “think on your feet” and adapt to last-minute changes
  • Take initiative to get things done, sometimes with little to no direction or supervision
  • Independently identify, assess, and solve problems or improve processes
  • Strong knowledge of videography, lighting equipment, and computer editing systems
  • Knowledge of Wide Orbit Traffic and scheduling daily promo logs is a plus
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in medium-to-major broadcast TV station OR at a corporate marketing / creative agency.
  • Portfolio that shows demonstrated skills with motion and graphic design, writing, producing, and video editing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
  • Must be willing to work in Atlanta GA. This is not a remote position.
  • Must have ability to work flexible hours when needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
