KREM 2, the TEGNA-owned, CBS affiliate in Spokane, WA has an immediate opening for an Account Manager. The Account Manager position is a critical post sale customer service role that has a deep understanding of our multi-media sales solutions that enables them to manage the day to day responsibilities of implementing, maintaining and reporting of sales campaigns on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. ​

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with designated account executives and managers to implement sales campaign orders with a high level of customer service, accuracy and attention to detail to ensure campaigns deliver and invoice correctly.
  • In a fast-paced environment, communicate and troubleshoot campaign issues with Account Executives, Managers and Clients.
  • Self-directed to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Attend sales meetings and sales trainings to maintain a high level of understanding of our media solutions and changes in our products and processes.​
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5-8 years related experience in account management or client services, preferably within the advertising industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Media Sales methodology and software like Nielsen and Wide Orbit a plus
  • Commitment to high quality of work and excellent customer service
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust tone to everyone they communicate with and win over strong clients
  • Is highly organized and has strong time management skills with ability to prioritize
  • Craves knowledge and is inquisitive, needs to know the "why"
  • Problem solves through creative solutions
  • Ability to work as part of team and independently 
  • Is resilient and able to adapt quickly to changing needs​
